Dwayne, “The Rock” Johnson, will you be our 4th?
That’s right; it’s February, and not only does that mean Valentine’s Day, but we announce the ultimate fourth to fill out your weekend foursome. We started this tradition last year by naming Bradley Cooper as our 1st ever Golf Aficionado Ultimate Fourth.
The Rock is the true definition of a Man’s man! The ultimate tough guy with a heart of gold. We’re not sure how often The Rock tees it up, but we would love for him to join us anytime. I can picture it now we’re on the green, and The Rock asks, “Is that good” with his eyebrow raised. Of course, it’s good!
2019 was an exciting year for The Rock; we saw him marry longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian, star in multiple blockbuster movies, and wrap up his highly acclaimed series Ballers.
While nobody fully understood the start of the final season of Ballers, we all enjoyed watching the final season come together with oddball couple Dwayne Johnson (Spencer Strasmore) and Rob Corddry (Joe Krutel) making amends and successfully riding off into the sunset.
The most appealing thing about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the fact he seems to be able to get along with just about everyone. He’s down to earth, and the onscreen chemistry between oddball matchups like Rob Corddry in Ballers and Kevin Hart in Jumanji gives you the feeling Dwayne could fit in with any group of guys and have fun on the golf course.
While filming a scene for Ballers in 2017, The Rock claims to have crushed a 490-yard drive out in Las Vegas. While we couldn’t find video to support the claim, there is no doubt The Rock has the muscle to crush the ball. The former pro wrestler also played college football with Warren Sapp at the University of Miami and had a brief stint in the Canadian Football League before turning to entertainment fulltime.
The happiest guy around more than willing to help his friends is how I imagine Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The ultimate escape, 4 hours on a golf course with a few golf aficionados, maybe a beer or two, and just enjoying each other’s company having a blast!
