Golfers familiar with Tacoma, Wash.-based TRUE linkswear are also in the know when it comes to the company’s flagship OG Feel model. This longtime staple of TRUE’s lineup is the ultimate minimalist golf shoe, featuring a zero-drop construction, breathable mesh upper, leather saddle, and aggressive treads for gripping the ground like a spiked shoe.
For years, TRUE offered the OG Feel in three stalwart designs: Static Black, Everyday Grey, and Blue and White. But the brand that PGA TOUR player Ryan Moore and his brother Jason built in the Pacific has rolled out several new colorways, and color pops across many of its models this year.
In keeping with its “never stand still” mantra, TRUE recently dropped its first “Camo Pack,” including four new Reflect Camo editions: Black, Charcoal, Cobblestone, and Navy.
Retailing for $155, the OG Feel Reflect Camo Collection models are available in sizes ranging from seven to 15. They weigh a mere 10.3 ounces, making them one of the lightest golf shoes on the market. The extra-wide toe box is also ideal for walkers or golfers who appreciate extra space for their toes to spread out.
TRUE is quick to point out on its website that limited-edition drops are just that – limited. These constrained supply product drops tend to sell fast given the brand’s cult following online and via social media. And with the rise in popularity of not only golf but walking the golf course, all TRUE OG Feel models have been selling quickly, according to Brandon Wallach, TRUE’s longtime VP of Marketing.
And in keeping with bolstering its “OG” lines, TRUE also added three new colorways to its most iconic model, the Original 1.2. #Enjoythewalk golfer can now choose from Classic Black, Nine Iron Grey, and Moonbeam in addition to Pure White and White / Black Saddle. With the OG Feel Reflect Camo Collection, golfers have fair-weather and all-weather options for “enjoying the walk.”
